Spot it (also known as Dobble) is a fast-action game of visual perception for 2-8 players. In each round, each player is dealt a random card from the deck. The deck consists of 55 circular cards, each of which contains eight different symbols. The symbols are organized in a circular location pattern on the card.
The goal of the game is to be the first player to spot a matching symbol between one of their cards and an opponent’s card. The first player to spot the match and call the symbol out, wins.
To begin the game, each player is dealt one card. The dealer flips over the top card from the deck and places it in the center of the table. Players take turns flipping over the top card from their draw pile and placing it next to the center card. Players must then look for a matching symbol between their card and the center card, or between their card and an opponent’s card.
If a match is found, the player must announce the symbol out loud and place their card on top of the matching symbol. If no match is found, the card stays in play, and the player’s turn is over. After every player has had a turn, the dealer flips over a new card from the deck and places it in the center of the table.
The game continues with players flipping over cards and matching symbols until the entire deck has been used. The player who has the most matching symbols at the end of the game wins.
