How to remove activation lock?

Removing Activation Lock from an iOS device is a fairly simple process, but it does require the Apple ID and password associated with the device. The following steps can help guide you through the process.

1. If the device is already unlocked, open the Settings app then tap your name at the top.

2. Then tap “iCloud” and scroll down to the bottom of the page to the “Find My” section. Tap the switch beside “Find My iPhone” to turn it off.

3. If the device is still locked, rest your finger on the Home button to open the slider. Then enter your Apple ID and password and press the Enter key.

4. Once the device is unlocked, open Settings and select your name at the top to access your iCloud settings.

5. Scroll down to the “Find My” section and turn off “Find My iPhone”. Your device will no longer be locked and you’ll be able to use it without any issues.
