How to turn on share across devices?

To turn on the share across devices feature on Windows 10, you need to first make sure that you have a Microsoft account and are signed into it on all devices that you want to share files between.

1. On each computer, go to the Start menu and open the Settings app.
2. Select the “Accounts” option and then select “Your Info".
3. Make sure the email address associated with your Microsoft account is shown at the top of the window and select the “Sync Your Settings” option.
4. Turn on the toggle switch next to “Share Across Devices” and select “Save”.

Once you have signed into your Microsoft account and enabled the “Share Across Devices” feature on all desired devices, you will be able to share files across them. On any device, you can open the file explorer, select the “Share” tab, and select the “Share Across Devices” option to share the currently opened file or folder. A list of available devices will appear, from which you can select the one you want to send the file to. It’s important to note that for this feature to work, both the source and destination devices must be connected to the internet.
