If you have a Tesla that was made after the year 2016, then the process of putting it into neutral is relatively simple.
First, you must apply pressure to the brake pedal, and then release the “drive” button. After doing so, you will then press the “Park” button twice within two seconds. This will allow the car to go into Neutral. You will then be able to roll the car manually to the desired location.
Alternatively, if you have a Tesla that was made prior to 2016, you must first apply pressure to the brake pedal, and then press down on both the “Drive” and “Reverse” buttons simultaneously. After holding both for approximately two seconds, the car will go into Neutral. You can then manually roll the car to the desired location.
It is important to note that when attempting to exit a Tesla in Neutral, you must press the “Drive” button and then the “Park” button. Failure to do so can result in the car rolling away until it finds an object to stop itself.
As with any car, you should ensure your own safety and the safety of others by wearing a seatbelt and stopping the car in a safe area free of any traffic.
